Easy tips to clean your white sofa

cleaning tips    Jan 18,2018

A white sofa can give your home an air of calm and sophistication, but the dirt and stains on this sofa can quickly turn your calm into a panic. Before using a sofa cleaning method on the top of the couch, test it in a discreet place to make sure it does not leave a whiter spot than the couch's original color.

1. Vacuum the lounge chair before beginning any sofa cleaning procedure, particularly along the creases and between the pads. This counteracts soil as of now on the couch from spreading amid cleaning.

2. Use a lint roller to remove surface crumbs, pet hair, and lint from the blanket.

3. Make a paste by mixing the baking soda with soda. Lay the dough on the stain with a clean cloth. Allow the dough to dry, and vacuum out of the couch. The stain can also be rubbed gently with a soft toothbrush. Do not be too brutal in rubbing, otherwise, you may ruin the fabric.

4. Apply a solution of half hydrogen peroxide and half the water to the stain with a spray bottle and a clean cloth at sofa cleaning. Do not rub or you can spread the stain. Erase the stain after letting the solution sit on the stain for a few minutes. Repeat the process if the entire stain is not removed the first time.

5. Purchase a sofa cleaning product for upholstered furniture. Read the label carefully to determine if it is safe for white furniture. Test the product in a hidden area, even if it indicates that it should be safe for your furniture.

Things you  need

- vacuum cleaner

- Baking soda
- Club Soda
- Clean cloth
- Soft toothbrush

- Upholstery cleaner

Try to remove stains as soon as possible. The longer they sit, the harder they are to go out. Always blot a fresh stain; never rub.

Never use bleach on white furniture. The "white" color that results from the bleach will rarely match the original color of the sofa.
